Ghost • Glow

I just posted a preview of my Work in Progress icon suite over at Aqua-Soft.org //View Here.

It's called Ghost•Glow and is an extension of my Ghost in the Shell icon suite that is almost finished. I'll post the preview under the screenshot at the top of the page once I've got the preview hosted.

My parents helped me get the parts to fix my PC. I can finally get back to using a good PC instead of a laptop from the 1990s.

Lightning Never Strikes Twice...

Except, apparently, just after you have spent £300 upgrading your computer, were waiting for the next pay cheque to buy a surge protector and live in southern England as it drags itself slowly into the Summer.

Well, my PC got fried by a power surge, the second sudden strike we had in the space of about a week. I was lucky that the PC turned back on the first time, but my luck never holds. I'm taking it to get fixed this weekend, so I should be back doing things I enjoy again. I also now have things to post here, and will be making more updates to this, Hidden Angels and my DeviantART page, although I'm closing Cherwina's Diary as, although I keep working on it, I can't keep a regular schedule and I'm just getting annoyed with Geocities, oh well.

Anywhere but Home...

I've just watched the Evanescence - Anywhere but Home video and can honestly say (apart from the first few where she seemed a bit croaky) Amy Lee can sing. I always thought the lyrics her and Ben come up with are brilliant especially for songs like My Immortal and Whisper but I always prefer to here a song live to prove that they know the song.

When you see some of the Pop groups that live and die like butterflies, they are handed a sheet of paper with a song on and asked to perform it. They don't know the emotional content of the song and so the song is never what it was meant to be, this wasn't so when I heard My Immortal, sounding just as hauntingly beautiful as the first time I heard it.

Anyway, enough about my thoughts on music, I have World of Warcraft and I'm waiting for Blizzard to get back to me on account issues but hopefully Cherwina will start her diary for real tomorrow.

World of Warcraft (Europe) Release

Today was the day when Europe collapsed under the might of Azeroth... well, maybe. I'll be off in a sec to pick up my copy and hopefully will be playing this evening on one of the RP servers, we shall see. In the mean time I'd like to announce the existence my other website. Time for a Rethink

I have cleaned out my old blog and I am turning this into my main site hub. This is where I will post links to new things in my DevART gallery, new sites I'm working on or stuff that just doesn't fit elsewhere. Starting with my latest desktop screenshot... but what OS is that I'm using?
